My Palm Pro occasionally burns through battery pretty fast, so when I got a charger that included a spot for a spare battery, I got one of these. I marked my batteries so I could tell which one was the original, and if it weren't for that, I'd never be able to tell. They perform the same.

This battery was tested by a national chain called Batteries Plus. Identical batteries purchased from this company were tested and deemed defective. Now I am stuck with the hassle of returning them.

If this is identical to the factory-installed battery in the Treo Pro, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING ANOTHER. I had this phone and its battery for about one year before the battery finally went off the deep end. The phone could only hold a charge for 7 to 8 hours max without any app use (more typically 5 to 6 hours max). I was charging the device at least twice daily, sometimes more, as I use the phone and apps for work. I would not recommend purchasing another one of these batteries as a back-up or replacement.
Seidio manufactures an aftermarket extended-life battery, linked below. Check out my review on the Seidio model for more info on the product. I have had it for almost a year, and the battery still lasts me from 7am one day until 10pm the next (36+ hours on one charge). To me, it's worth the price tag to not have to carry around extra batteries.
