| Customer Reviews: Easy to use, and doesn't take up space on power strip January 7, 2010 vlim (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I hate power supplies that plug directly into the outlet. Usually, they're really bulky and end up covering the adjacent outlets, rendering the power strip ineffective. Fortunately, this POE injector plays nice, and has a power cord.
Suitable for CLASS-3 PoE June 14, 2010 George Waterman (New England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We are using this PoE power supply with an external Axis security camera. The camera draws a fair amount of current when the heater is on inside the external camera housing, something that PoE switches have trouble with supplying. Most PoE devices don't need class 3 power, but if your application does, then this is a suitable device. It is a little larger than most of the computer BRICK power supplies, but that is likely because it is ducted for air circulation (as you can see from the product image). It does get warm to the touch, but NOT what I would consider hot. It is very easy to connect to your application and has proven reliable for us so far.
Self-contained power supply July 12, 2010 FlyingPolarBear (Fullerton, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm using this to provide the PoE power for my Panasonic BB-HCM735 network camera. So far it's been reliable. The power supply is fully built in to the main unit - it is nice that this does not have a separate bulky power transformer, just a plug-in cord. The green power LED lights up. Straight and simple and it works.
Great. Used with Cisco VoIP Phone August 13, 2010 cjfman 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This power injector works great. It was easy to install. The power adaptor is built in to the main box, so it does not take up space on the power strip. The actual power injector itself does not take up that much space, so I just tucked it away behind the network switch. Buying this power injector was the right decision.
Does the job May 15, 2008 R. lenahan (smog-free-torr,ca) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I mean it is a POE... it works and does the job that I needed it to do.
I am using it for a Toshiba IK-WB15A IP Security Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera.
Happy with the unit.
