The Maintenance Kit worked as it was designed. However, a HP Tech had to be employed to operated the kit, existing employeed were not able to get the kit to perform its designed function.

I bough some re manufactured maintenance kit before, they are $50- 60 cheaper than the genuine HP ones, but don't work as good as HP.
One of the remanufactured one went bad after 3 months of usage and I couldn't find the original paper work to request a replace.
So I bough the genuine HP kit, works pretty good, very quite and nice print outs.
It is worthy to pay for the extra $$$
